Intellectual Property (IP) encompasses creations of the mind, such as inventions; literary and artistic works; designs; and symbols, names, and images used in commerce. IP law grants creators certain rights and protections for their creations, encouraging innovation and creativity. The main types of IP include copyrights, patents, trademarks, and trade secrets, each providing a different form of protection and duration.
