Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is a security process in which the user provides two distinct forms of identification before accessing a service or system. This method combines something the user knows (like a password) with something the user has (such as a mobile phone for receiving a verification code) to add an extra layer of security beyond just a password.
