Domain Kiting
Domain Kiting refers to the exploitative practice of registering a domain name and deleting it within the grace period for a full refund, only to immediately re-register it for another grace period. This process can be repeated multiple times to essentially use the domain for free. Domain kiting takes advantage of the domain registration system’s grace periods to avoid paying registration fees, a practice that has been largely mitigated by registry operators imposing restrictions and penalties.
